USA Today, Host to Mashable’s US Summer Tour – DC
Today I had the honor of an inside peak of the USA Today headquarters, located in McLean, Virginia. My well-informed and wonderfully obliging tour guides were Brian Dresher, Manager, Social Media & Digital Partnerships and Jodi Gersh, Social Media and Content Manager for parent company, Gannett, Inc. My first time inside a media powerhouse I was blown away by many things – the gorgeous facilities including pond-side dining and a full-scale gym and salon, lines and lines of decked out cubicles (serious flare, serious!) and collaborative areas that breathe creative thinking.
USA Today will be host to Mashable’s US Summer Tour for their DC stop on August 5th, 2010. Attendees will include East Coast Mashable team: Adam Hirsch, Sharon Hirsch, Adam Ostrow,Vadim Lavrusik, Brett Petersel, Brenna Ehrlich, Erica Swallow, Lauren Indvik, Matt Silverman, Stefanie Rennert, Stephanie Marcus, Zachary Sniderman and Karen Hartline will represent the West Coast Team Mashable. Ticket’s are available for $20 and food and beverage will be in abundance. Hope to see you there!

I'm looking for opportunities to network with my fellow Mashable attendees.
I started a web development company (Custom Software by Preston) a few years ago. We improve business processes through developing custom software solutions (using .Net, ColdFusion, Ruby on Rails, Java, you name it!). We have quite a diverse set of IT skills and experience.
Let me know if you want to chat! Maybe we can come up with a way to work together!
Thanks,
Brett Miller
