As an Irish woman story-telling is something I know all too well. Only I didn’t know there was a resource for that right here in DC – hosting multiple events for your listening (or speaking) pleasure! Amy Saidman, Artistic Director of SpeakeasyDC and two-time recipient of the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities’ Artist Fellowship Award, invites you to Logic, Luck, and Love: A Valentine’s Day Special with Two Pear Productions:

Love can happen any time, but the odds aren’t good. Four storytellers: men/women, gay/straight, hopefully romantic and pessimistically cynical, tell true tales about the probability, possibility, choices and dumb luck that has led them toward and sent them careening from love.
