The Inaugural BOMF DC Blue & Green Birthday Bash
How time runs by…I can’t believe Back on My Feet DC is already turning one year old! I ran the St. Patrick’s Day 8K in support of of BOMF in 2010 and am so proud to see the wonderful contribution they’ve made to the local community. In honor of their birthday a full-on bash was inevitably! Slap on some green or blue and check into the JW Marriott Hotel with Bisnow on March 24th to applaud the many accomplishments of BOMF DC members, volunteers and supporters who have changed lives through the BOMF program. Your thoughtful donation and ticket purchase includes dinner and an open bar, a live auction and plenty of time for dancing!

Back on My Feet, founded by Anne Mahlum in Philadelphia in 2007, is a nonprofit organization that promotes the self-sufficiency of homeless populations by engaging them in running as a means to build confidence, strength and self-esteem. We do not provide food or shelter, but instead provide a community that embraces equality, respect, discipline, teamwork and leadership. Our organization consists of much more than just running: our members participate in a comprehensive program that offers connections to job training, employment and housing. (Source: BOMF Website)
