DC Sail makes opportunities available to 500+ youth each year through programs that focus on STEM-based (science, technology, engineering, math) education, safe boating practices, environmental awareness, leadership development, and physical fitness. DC Sail actively targets underserved youth participants, and set a goal this year of putting at least 50% of our participants through the programs on scholarship. This amounts to over $50,000 worth of programming provided at no or low cost. It is only with your help that we can make this possible. Please consider becoming an official 2011 Youth Program Sponsor or attending our first annual Blue Crabs ‘n’ BlueGrass fundraiser (Source: DCSail.org)
