Social Media Day Heats Up DC [VIDEO]

Events like last night remind me why I do what I do. Over 250 local social media enthusiasts gathered on Ozio’s rooftop to celebrate what Mashable declared as Social Media Day. This is the second year that Sisarina and DCeventjunkie have hosted this event and the good times just get better! Brian Dresher, Director of Business Development for Mashable, was in attendance and threw some branded swag my way. I’ve got 2 water bottles, a tee-shirt and a couple of bandanas up for grabs – just leave a comment to tell me what Social Media Day means to you. SpokeSignal, a new DC startup, bought the first 200 drinks getting the party off to a magnificent start.
