Whine Wine Wednesdays
You only have to search #WMATA on Twitter to see that there’s plenty of whining online in DC! Wherever there’s a common love, there’s a community. And wherever there’s a community, there’s an event! Today I created Whine Wine Wednesday — the brainchild of my friend Ian Preston — a space to whine in company with wine in hand. You can join in online by posting to the wall of the new Facebook page or tweeting your rants each Wednesday with #wwwDC; or offline at weekly Whine Wine Wednesday happy hours at various hotspots (with good wine) around DC. First event to be announced as soon as we build this new community, so share this post and spread the whine — or wine — love around DC!
Got something to whine about? We’ll featured weekly “whines” from our readers around DC — different voices, different gripes, different perspectives. The post would whine about one particular aspect of life in DC — anything you want to vent about — and also include details on your wine of choice and where you like to spend wine time in DC. Each post would end with details on where the Whine Wine Wednesday event would be held that evening (added by Editor).
