Art All Night Long

| 09/22/2011

If you have trouble sleeping, we’ve found a creative way to keep you busy this Saturday night! In its inaugural year, Art All Night: Nuit Blanche DC will explore and celebrate contemporary art by bringing the community together for a cultural experience. And all for FREE!

Inspired by the French Nuit Blanche (All-Nighter), Art All Night will transform the city into an art gallery, re-imagining public spaces for art installations, performances, and block parties. The celebration is described as a “collaborative, unprecedented mash-up…that the city has been craving” and will feature 20 venues, 11 cultural partners, over 40 visual arts, a fashion show, a poetry slam, live musical performances, and so much more!

With this inaugural festival DC joins a global network of Nuit Blanche arts events that started in Paris in 2002 and has captivated audiences from Toronto to Tel Aviv. You won’t want to miss out!
