Distilled Intelligence 1.0: DC’s Event to Energize Startups and Investors
Calling all startups, investors and entrepreneurs for Distilled Intelligence 1.0. Fortify.vc is revolutionizing how startups are funded in the mid-Atlantic region.
You won’t want to miss this debut event where 50 pre-selected startups will have the opportunity to present to an influential audience including Angel Investors, Venture Capital firms, fellow entrepreneurs, the media and well-known business and government executives. Startups will also have the opportunity to win cash and prizes totaling $25,000 with no strings attached. The competition will be in successive pitch format before a distinguished panel of judges.
Distilled Intelligence 1.0 was created to give back to the startup and investment community and in an effort to energize funding in our region. The event is expected to draw over 500 attendees with over 200 companies applying for the 50 coveted presenter slots.

Fortify.vc was created in May, 2011 to fill a void in the Mid-Atlantic region for seed and early stage investing. Their investment areas of focus are primarily cyber-security, mobile commerce, social platforms, and enterprise software. In just a few short months they have met with over 300 companies nationwide and plan to meet with thousands more over the years to come.
