H Street Festival is Happening This Weekend!
This coming Saturday, September 17th, marks “DC’s best neighborhood Festival” HStreetFestival2011. With the completion of the streetscape project and several newly established businesses with open doors Executive Director of H Street Main Street, Anwar Saleem, feels there’s plenty of reasons to celebrate.
The 2010 event brought out over 30,000 attendees to enjoy live music on 4 stages, artcars, Baltimore Rock Opera Society, fashion shows, patio cafes and the street parades. With hopes to attract an even larger crowd this year’s event will feature more entertainment and events covering 6 blocks of festival fun.
