Oktoberfest Beer Festival in Northern Virginia

It’s that time of year again! The time for pumpkin spice lattes, autumn comfort foods, layers of warm clothing, and last but not least, seasonal brews!

Capitol City Brewing Co. is getting ready to host the largest Oktoberfest Beer Festival in Northern Virginia! The 12th annual Mid-Atlantic Oktoberfest will take place October 8th in Arlington, VA and will provide attendees with the music of an authentic German band and traditional Oktoberfest fair foods.

The admission is free if you don’t plan on drinking. If you do decide to partake, tickets are $25 and will include a wristband, a tasting glass, and 10 tickets for 4oz samples from over 40 different breweries to choose from. Additional tickets will be on sale for $1 each.

It’s going on rain or shine, so come prepared to eat, drink, and be merry with fellow revelers. I imagine there will be lots of people dressed as traditional Germans (based on precedent), so feel free to dress up and get in the Oktoberfest spirit!
