DREAM Life Domestic Violence Awareness Hour

| 10/12/2011

Domestic Violence is a serious, but often hidden issue facing people of all ages and socio-economic backgrounds.  This Thursday, October 13TH from 6 to 8 PM “Hearts Beat…Love Doesn’t,”a campaign whose mission is to raise domestic violence awareness, will be hosting an Awareness Hour at Sova Espresso & Wine in DC.

Guests will hear stories of survivors and learn how to get victims the help they need. Food and beverages specials will be available and those attending will have the opportunity to network and engage in discussions about domestic violence and how it impacts their community.

This Awareness Hour is sponsored by D.R.E.A.M.Life.org (Delivering Resources to Empower a Mother’s Life), a non-profit that strives to offer support, guidance, and resources to enable single mothers to live their best life.  D.R.E.A.M.Life also hosts workshops and provides mentoring for mothers in and around DC.  Come out and support this worthy cause and help a mother live her best life!
