Support WWPR and Thrive DC With Help the Homeless Mini Walk
They might spend their days pitching reporters, creating communications plans and sending tweets but on weekends, these PR pros give back to their community. Washington Women in Public Relations (WWPR) plans to continue their tradition of helping others by sponsoring Fannie Mae’s 2011 Help the Homeless Mini Walk for their pro bono client, Thrive DC.
The walk will take participants through D.C.’s Mount Pleasant area with professional tour guide Amy Kunz. Those braving the chilly weather this weekend with WWPR will get a chance to raise money for homeless citizens while learning more about the historic area.
