Celebrate Chinese Couture at Dress to Empress!

On Saturday, December 3, 2011 from 8pm until midnight at the Smithsonian’s Arthur M. Sackler and Freer Gallery of Art the Silk Road Society will host Dress to Empress, an event celebrating the drama and heritage of Chinese fashion.

A fashion show featuring the works of award-winning NYC designer Yeohlee Teng will take place at this event as well as other featured exhibitions including: Power|Play, China’s Empress Dowager and Family Matters, and Portraits from the Qing Court. Along with the display of Chinese couture, art and music, there will be an open bar and traditional cuisine provided!
