Rockville Ice Rink Grand Opening with Olympian Kimmie Meissner
On Wednesday, December 28th the Grand Opening of Rockville Town Square’s newest addition — a 7,200 square foot ice skating rink — will make public the largest outdoor ice skating rink between DC and Baltimore.
Local dignitaries will attend the opening ceremony which will include live music, hot chocolate and fireworks. Afterwards, American Figure Skater and former Olympian Kimmie Meissner will skate a special performance to officially open the ice rink to the public!
Attendees will be able to meet-and-greet with Meissner, get her autograph, and take their first strides, or slips, out onto the new rink!
