SOME 9th Annual Junior Gala
So Others Might Eat (SOME) is gearing up for its 9th Annual Junior Gala this February. Each year the gala is held to continue SOME’s mission of raising awareness and funds for its Griffin House.
The Griffin House was opened in 2005 to provide safe housing for those in DC’s homeless community with 170 apartments, rooms and efficiencies.
SOME’s Junior Gala is a great opportunity to support the nonprofit organization while enjoying cocktails and dancing to the live music of the Blue Tips Rhythm Revue.
If you’re passionate about SOME or helping the homeless and you’d like to be a sponsor, contact mgannon@some.org.

SOME (So Others Might Eat) is an interfaith, community-based organization that exists to help the poor and homeless of our nation’s capital. SOME meet the immediate daily needs of the people served with food, clothing, and health care. They help break the cycle of homelessness by offering services, such as affordable housing, job training, addiction treatment, and counseling, to the poor, the elderly and individuals with mental illness. Each day, SOME is restoring hope and dignity one person at a time.
