The Beer Academy with Greg Engert

Have you ever taken a sip of a really great beer and looked at the bottle or glass wondering just what the heck was in it to make it taste so good?

Well, Rustico Restaurant and Bar is giving you the chance to learn what goes into great beers and even the bad ones with its very own “Beer Academy.”

Taught by Greg Engert, this seven-course academy will take you through at least six beers per class to learn the ins and outs of beer brewing. Engert will educate the class on beer-related topics such as history and industry observations, local breweries, various ales and more. The academy will kick off, brews in hand, on January 21st with “Tasting Craft Beer: Examining the Flavor Spectrum Across the History of Beer.”

Beer academy prices are $24 per person with reduced pricing available for group packages of 3, 6 or 12 classes. Following courses will be held on February 18, March 17, April 14, May 12 and June 9.
