The Exceptional Everyday: An Evening of Norwegian Design

The Corcoran Gallery of Art continues a tradition of creating cultural art galleries with another wonderful exhibit. The Exceptional Everyday: Design Post Process exhibit hosts an opening reception of Norwegian design and fashion to continue its installments.

Sponsored by the Norwegian Embassy, the evening of enlightening art will begin with a history lecture of Norwegian art design by Benedicte Sunde, design expert and curator at The Norwegian Centre for Design and Architecture.

The Exceptional Everyday showcases the dynamic and witty work of nine contemporary Norwegian industrial designers. Each object in the show tweaks a seemingly mundane object or process and, in doing so, creates an exceptional experience.
