Washington Wine Academy’s Holiday Evening & National Christmas Tree Outing
Despite your best efforts to get into the holiday spirit and put forth your cheeriest self you still may not be in the mood to fight all the traffic and crowds that will inevitably swarm the Ellipse this season to see the National Christmas Tree.
The Washington Wine Academy has come up with a solution. What better way to take in this must-see DC sight than with a prior wine tasting followed by a limo bus there? Grab your favorite people and come out to the Washington Wine Academy for a reception featuring winter wines and light fare to warm you up then board a limo bus that will drop you off by the National Christmas Tree and leave you to wander around at your leisure. After about an hour (plenty of time to bask in the holiday lights and take a zillion pics) the bus will take you back to the wine academy. It’s the perfect way to spend a December Thursday evening.
There will be four events, Thursday December 8th and 15th, each with a 6:00 p.m. and a 7:30 p.m. reception followed by the trip to DC. Space is limited, so get your tickets soon!
