Ride Your Bike and Encourage Recycling at The Re-Cycle Parade
Junk is now the new thing in music, art and parades. In this case, it takes center stage in The Re-Cycle that’s part of DC Week, an annual tech and design conference. Between November 6 and November 13, volunteers will construct a bicycle-powered float made from electronic waste and other scrap materials. The float is being constructed at BicycleSpace and it will lead The Re-Cycle procession on November 13 as it makes its way from the bike store at 459 I Street NW to the Arena Stage where the DC Week closing party is being held.
