Bhide has now turned a collection of these pieces into her first ebook.

DC PR Flacks Meetup to Celebrate Second Anniversary
Founded by Margie Newman in July 2009, today actually marks the Anniversary of the very first official meetup for DC PR Flacks! This organically-grown meetup has gathered over 600 members and attracts over 60 of the more social souls at regular monthly Happy Hour events. Friends of Brooke Ryan — that voice you may recognize from the Jack Diamond Morning Show on Mix 107.3 — raised a glass or three at District 2 Bar & Grille this afternoon in honor of her birthday. True to form, “Brooke’s Britney Brunch” was no ordinary celebration. In honor of her obsession with Britney Spears and excitement to see her idol live at the Verizon Center this evening, Brooke was decked out with pseudo Britney headset with a cardboard cutout starring in more pictures than the birthday girl!

If you’ve had the pleasure of meeting Stef Woods, you’ve had the pleasure. She’s a strong, inspiring, loving and willful character. My initial encounter with Stef was at the first Tweetup I ever hosted – with Nicole Nolte at Caribbean Breeze. As her head of gorgeous red hair turned away from the cameras my intrigue was sparked. I’d read her blog – mouth agape as she spared no delicious details – and wanted more. Who was this wonderful creature, so brave and daring yet so seemingly camera shy?
