The Brewer’s Ball is Back
The Annual Brewer’s Ball is back for it’s 8th running year. A craft beer & food tasting festival to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the Brewer’s Ball is an all-inclusive occasion to sample handcrafted microbrews from more than two dozen of the region’s best microbreweries and brewpubs as well as some of the highest rated DC-area restaurants. This year’s event will feature live entertainment by The Congress and a silent auction featuring domestic and international trips, one of a kind experiences, memorabilia, gift certificates to local events, sporting events, restaurants and more.
Jack Rose’s New Bar Menu is Easy to Eat and Easy on the Wallet
Psst! We’ve got a dining out exclusive you will love. Up to now, it’s been a juicy secret, but the folks at Jack Rose Dining Saloon want you to know—they’ve just launched their new bar menu—and it’s a huge hit.
So much about this retro hot spot in Adams Morgan screams food and fun. Unlike some overpriced trendy gastro pubs, Jack Rose serves terrific food that’s terrifically priced—everything on their bar menu is half price from 5:00 to 7:30 PM, seven days a week.
Wine and Food Truck Pairing Dinner at The Fourth Estate
Food trucks have been all the rage for the last couple of years. While the convenience and novelty of eating from a mini mobile restaurant is appealing, the main reason I (and I imagine many others) often opt to go to a “real restaurant” is the availability of wine – oh, and the whole tables, chairs, and roof thing. For one night at least, that’s all going to change. The food trucks are coming indoors and the wine will be flowing.
