Wine and Food Truck Pairing Dinner at The Fourth Estate
Food trucks have been all the rage for the last couple of years. While the convenience and novelty of eating from a mini mobile restaurant is appealing, the main reason I (and I imagine many others) often opt to go to a “real restaurant” is the availability of wine – oh, and the whole tables, chairs, and roof thing. For one night at least, that’s all going to change. The food trucks are coming indoors and the wine will be flowing.

Find your perfect pairing at Whole Foods Foggy Bottom this Valentine’s. On February 12th they’ll be spoiling you with gourmet treats and a selection of European wines for an evening of all you can taste! Purchase a wine glass for $5 — yours to keep — and roam the aisle as love jams play to sweeten the mood. The mouth-watering menu includes Asparagus Salad with Mushrooms, Pecans & Chipotle Mustard Vinaigrette, Danish Blue Stuffed Dates with a Balsamic Reduction, Local Oysters on the Half Shell, Sweetheart Rib Eye with Chocolate Mole, and Vanilla Cheesecake with Bananas. Each dish will be paired with a fine European wine and guests are encouraged to mingle and savor from 5-7 PM.
