Park Hyatt Washington Hosts a Tempting Tea Tasting with a Master
Not knowing what to expect at a tea tasting, or knowing much about tea, I was curious to see what the Winter Tea Blend Tasting was like. It was part of Park Hyatt’s annual Masters of Food & Wine and in a word, it was spectacular. It reminded me a bit of Horton’s experience when he first heard the Who.
Boxwood Winery Holds Rare Bordeaux Blending Seminar
It’s isn’t easy for a Virginia winery to stand shoulder to shoulder with the best of the best from Bordeaux, the world’s largest fine wine region, but that’s exactly what Boxwood Winery does every day. If anyone can put Virginia wines on the global map, it’s Boxwood. Their dedication to quality, taste, and refinement is evident with every sip. This past weekend, ten guests spent a lovely Sunday afternoon in the pristine stone and glass winery just outside Middleburg. Set among rolling green hillsides and surrounded by undulating horse country and enormous farm estates, Boxwood is the picture of style and elegance. When you first approach the winery you are greeted by a huge, plumed, centuries old oak tree. Just beyond the stone wall and gate are 16 acres of uniform rows of now dormant vines standing at attention like gnarled, silent sentinels.

A-SPAN’s Homeless Bagged Meal Program operates every single night of the year (and has for almost two decades), is completely volunteer-run, and serves as an open-door to other assistance and housing programs.
Cooking Up An Appetizing Conversation With Melissa Clark
Interested in learning a simple way to prepare duck? If your first reaction consists of a sarcastic laugh and a confused brow, then you are not alone. But according to New York Times food columnist and cookbook author, Melissa Clark, cooking-up a duck can be incredibly simple and delicious.
