Activism, Media, Policy Summit Brought Together Industry Leaders at Newseum Today

Inspired and intrigued by the conversation around the future of news in an online world I’d like to share some of the conversation that transpired that caught my attention…

Whine Wine Wednesdays
You only have to search #WMATA on Twitter to see that there’s plenty of whining online in DC! Wherever there’s a common love, there’s a community. And wherever there’s a community, there’s an event! Today I created Whine Wine Wednesday — the brainchild of my friend Ian Preston — a space to whine in company with wine in hand. You can join in online by posting to the wall of the new Facebook page or tweeting your rants each Wednesday with #wwwDC; or offline at weekly Whine Wine Wednesday happy hours at various hotspots (with good wine) around DC. First event to be announced as soon as we build this new community, so share this post and spread the whine — or wine — love around DC!
