District Innovation: A Showcase of Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation in DC
The DC Social Innovation Project aims to tackle pressing social issues in Washington DC by identifying and investing in creative new ideas and ventures that target such problems. Their Bright Idea Project gathers proposals for such ventures with a promise to award two winning ideas with a shared package of $50,000 worth of funds, services and resources. On November 29th you’re invited to meet and greet the four lucky finalist and learn about their bright ideas at Local 16.

Their goal is to provide clear and easy tactics for producing high quality web video on a low-cost budget. Hourly workshops are held once a month at various locations around DC, with each event featuring a guest speaker and focusing on different aspects of web video production.
