10th Annual Carpenters Cook-Off
Another winter is behind us, and while warmer weather and brighter days are ahead it can be easy to forget those who have to brave the elements in search for food and shelter. Homelessness is a very real problem in the DC area, but one which you can help alleviate.
Carpenter’s Cook-Off is an annual fundraiser hosted by Carpenter’s Shelter. Each year 30 of the DC area’s best restaurant’s chefs serve tasting portions of their favorite dishes. Then Cook-Off attendees get to vote for the yummiest bites while enjoying live music and a live auction on trips, tickets, meals and more. All proceeds go toward ending homelessness in the national capital region.
